Evaluation of Afterschool Programs
The Afterschool Alliance is a program whose goal is to ensure that the opportunities are there for all children to participate in both effective and affordable after school programs. It has compiled a collection of research papers that have been done throughout the decade on many issues surrounding the efficacy of after school programs. In this article, you’ll find summaries of the papers findings on different after school programs throughout the country. The goal of these evaluations is to see how the programs have effected behavior, social development, and the family structure.
